SIMPLICITY

.
Dear friends,

Together we all make the gift of a wealth of information which enables everyone everywhere to experience an ever-growing appreciation of what the two-step embodies.  To hesitate and ask, “Father, what is the truth here?” brings forth the restoration of what our attention has been created for:  The unobscured visibility of what Creation truly is in every place and in all ways.

Although the following is brief and to the point for now, I will be sharing more later.
  • Thanks to the support of many, April's expenses were wonderfully met!
  • The Foundation's present bank balance is: $400.00
  • May's immediate expenses are: $7,550.00
  • The solution is: Love's continuing expression [because it's never finished loving!]
You are invited to be part of the Gift that keeps on giving
because the Gift is worth it!

Thank you all.

THE GIFT THAT KEEPS ON GIVING -- PART III

.
Dear friends,

Just as the past does not hold the building blocks of the future, knowledge (memory) cannot be the source of new knowledge.  New knowledge is never the result of the constructive or skillful use of memory.  It is, rather, the evidence of insight or inspiration penetrating consciousness from a source independent of memory.

Nevertheless, it is so easy to try to put new wine into old bottles.  And the reason it is easy is because of the belief that the "new" arises out of the "old," that the future is built upon the past, that what has been is the foundation for what will be.  Such generalized terms are quite palatable, but they cover up a more conflicted fundamental mindset.

Here are the actual levels of that mindset:

At the surface is the accepted belief that the new arises out of the old, the future is built upon the past, what has been is the foundation for what will be.  And the translation of this is:  Evolution is a natural movement to be enjoyed and participated in, providing a manifest destiny and giving purpose to being.  This is the meaning of existence.

Just beneath that, and mostly obscured by it, is the belief that progress is a matter of breakthroughssudden penetrations of resistancereleasing everything from the "confines" of the past and establishing everything on a new level.  And the translation of this is:  Progress is the meaning of existence, and overcoming resistance is how it happens.

However, underlying that is the actual belief, completely obscured from sight, which is:  Breaking free of the past . . . is life!  And the awful translation of this is:  Overcoming domination is the meaning of existence.

Unfortunately, "overcoming domination" means survival of the fittest through defensea contest to be won at the expense of your less fit brothers.  And because fear and guilt dominate it, you will remain committed to and bound by the contest unless someone comes along to show you that you are bound only by a belief and shows you how to redirect your attention.  That is my function.  My communications are the penetration of insight and inspiration into the dream of sacrifice, accomplishing that function.

My purpose is to help you undo the hold this belief has on you, and do it by making truth so clear to you that you easily let go of the belief.  It will continue to be my purpose and my function until you have.  There is nothing more important than this for us to attend to.  To join me in the holy instant and your brother from the holy instant allows the release of all things ancient, letting love replace the fear and guilt which bound you both, and releasing both of you together.

It is this which you are invited to support.

THE GIFT THAT KEEPS ON GIVING -- PART II

.
Dear friends,

Thank you to everyone for your incredible support since my post on April 5th.  As we enter the last five days of the month, your contributions have covered almost all of the greater-than-usual normal expenses.  A remaining $4,300 is still needed in order to be current in five days.

In addition, there are the property taxes, due by April 30th in the amount of $6,383.84, which have not been paid, and for which there are presently no funds available.  Your help with this is still invited and needed.

I will share again that all of the activities of the Foundation are gifts made without strings, made without charge--simply available to everyone.  Everything associated with me, conveys and embodies the fact that "It is the Father's good pleasure to give you the Kingdom," including the means of "coming Home."  It cannot be any other way, even though it requires everyone to abandon the old premise of, "To have, get . . ." to the new premise, found in the Course: "To have, give all to all."

For 30 years we have calmly and persistently functioned on this premise/basis/principle, and we will quietly continue, undistracted by the temptation to get control by turning the gift of Love into a transactional, conditional exchange, the premise of which is: "You can only have, IF . . ."

And, again, to everyone whose gifts of appreciation, both financial and otherwise, have made the ongoing extension of the Foundation's activities possible, I acknowledge your love and thank you.  It has kept and keeps the Gift holy.
